I have not tried to update the site for awhile so assume this may have to do with the upgrade to WP 4, as in the Admin when editing a Header Slider I'm getting some errors. For example, when the "Slide Image" upload button is clicked nothing happens, I just get "Run script "void(0);" --- also, "Slide Content Alignment" for the "Vertical" and "Horizontal" options are shown but do nothing when clicked. That being said, I've made some major customizations to the theme so unfortunately can't just update to the newest version of the Salient theme. Can you please let me know what files need to be updated to fix this backend issue?

Mid Mod - I have the same issue with the upload button. Any luck in fixing this? If not, can you share how far you got with your research?

As suggested to Mid Mod best would be to move your changes to a child theme and update to the latest Salient Theme version.
