Please head to appearance > Customize > Widgets and try changing from the footer widgets. Or check whether it has been built by wpbakery page builder by clicking the frontend editor and try checking whether it is editable.
On this, using a Global Section footer in conjunction with Salient theme templates:
Important to make sure to check the Page Display template to "No Footer" and then add in your own Footer Global Section in the Page builder/backend editor etc.
This was the only way to override the footer widget copyright display. Turning it off in Salient theme settings did not work and all footer widgets were removed, even CSS "display: none" did not work for me.
Might seem basic but might help somebody out here.
I just bought the salient theme, but the salient footer i cannot change using the demo application, may i know why ?

Hi there,
I bought Salient yesterday and was facing the same issue.
Go to Global Section > After Page Content, then choose the footer template if you have one.
I am using the imported theme and found there was a footer template for my theme.
After that you should be able to edit it with the Bakery Page Builder.
I hope this helps:)
