Nectar style slider gallery size issue

    Hey guys,

    I am placing a nectar style slider into my page, and entering the size of the images in the settings box, but this does nothing. The slider is cropping off bits of my images. I assumed by telling it the size of my images that the slider would be exactly the same size?

    Its placed in a full width block so the slider is spanning 1200px which is chopping off the top and bottom of my images due to scaling it up.

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Please try using the Flexible Slider Height option in Nectar Slider.

    Also when using the flexible slider height option you have to enter the slider height based on how big your images would be at for eg 1600px wide - this will ensure the scaling is perfect with no clipping.

    The flexible slider height option makes the Nectar Slider respond perfectly to ensure there's no clipping on any view - leaving it off will cause the height of the slider to change only once per every viewport change (desktop, ipad, mobile) and clip variously between them.

    Thanks

    Im sorry, i don't follow.

    Im trying to use the flexible slider option but i still cant get them to be the right size.

    For example, this page: http://www.dev.brandwavemarketing.com.gridhosted.c...

    Has some web banners in a slider, i don't want them full width of the page. They are only 940x408. I want them to stay that size and not scale to the width of the page that is 1200px.

    I don't know why its not doing this. What should be i entering in the image size in the slider options to make it right?

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/4v3op1 .The only solution i can think of is adding css.

    Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel :
    .postid-3760 .swiper-slide {
        background-size: contain;
    }
    Thanks

    Ok, that seems to do the trick. The back ground is black though, any chance of making it the grey? Screenshot attached.

    Also, will this work for every slider? I will have more on other pages.

    Thanks
