The CSS was added and we still have the same problem when using Chrome Browser, in fact when we added the CSS you provided it caused the theme to have issues with the logo in FireFox... This is NOT a solution to the Theme's problem!
Please review on Google Chrome Browser... it is still not working. Firefox browser is fine and was fine, but with chrome it is not functioning correctly.

When using Google Chrome browser the Transparent Header Effect for the Logo is not displaying correctly.

Also, we cannot remove the old Google+ Icon that is in the Social Media area... It has not been enabled!!!
