I am having issues with the wpbakery frontend editor columns.
I select 4 columns for a product category in the editor and then on the actual site the 4 columns don't appear and everything is put into 1 vertical column.
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 14 and the current version of the page builder is 6.7.1. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

When we add an element (woocommerce products, product category, or product categories) and in the frontend editor it appears fine with the 4 columns that we want to see. I have removed it for now because the error still occurs and we have added the 4 products manually for now (as image, text box).

You have to insert the element from wpbakery (i.e., 4 items from product category or product categories), then in the wpbakery the 4products appear in a row with 4 columns, but then on the front end (actual website) they appear as one column.
