Its great using Nectar sliders to add beautiful full screen content, but its annoying that it is required to add a custom background image or video, and doesn't give you the option to just have a specific colour instead.
Is there any custom code to put inside the nectar slider itself?
You can simply add a colored bg image or another way would be to set a small transparent png and set the colors via css. Let me know your page url so i can write up some custom css.

Adding a coloured image just adds more data to slow the site down. Ill try the clear/small png but its not a really good solution.
