It seems that the WPBakery page builder autosave works well on regular pages, but on Portfolio items, it just saves the page title and nothing else. If trying to restore a previous version, it doesn't show any changes for those versions where the title has not been changed and when you apply an older version, nothing changes in the body, only the title. Is there any way to get it working or is this under works?
The "Update" button is very close to the WP toolbar's Profile-section, which expands upon hovering. More than once when trying to click "Update", I accidentally took my mouse a few pixels too high, expanding the profile-menu and automatically clicking on it, losing all my progress, since there was no popup asking me if I really want to move away from the page without saving. This would definitely be a crucial safety measure to have in addition to a working autosave.
The page builder is initialized on a custom meta field within the portfolio post type, and unfortunately WordPress does not handle autosaving for anything other than the title/main content editor. There is no official workaround for that at this time.
To your second point - I've noted to add in a dialog box warning of unsaved changes when leaving the page in the next release of the Portfolio plugin.

Hey cdesignFI,
Thanks for writing in. Escalating this to the developer for further response. Could you confirm you are using the Latest Version of Salient 14.0.5 ?.
Thanks
