Salient Search Whole Word Option?

    Hi Support,

I have two questions about the Salient Template search feature:

    1. Is there a way to make the search find only whole words instead of partial words? As an example, if I search for "Bes" I get not only matches for "Bes", but also matches for "best" and "scribes". I would like to limit results to only whole word matches, no partials. Is there an option available for this?

    2. Is there a way to limit the search to only "Pages"? I would like to limit the search to "Pages", and nothing else. Currently it is searching "All", and the only options I see to limit it are "Products", "Posts", and "Portfolios".

BTW, this template is great! Definitely one of the best I've ever bought. Because of my requirements though, I occasionally run into weird "edge cases" like these. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello there,

Try using a custom search plugin to extend the functionality of the search.

Check out https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/ as it is compatible with salient.

    Thanks

Thank you Andrew, I was hoping there was an inverted index search plugin available that was compatible, if no native options were. Looks like relevanssi will do the job perfectly.

    Thanks!
