Our site has an active SSL certificate, but still shows in some browsers as Not Secured (no padlock). The messages say that maybe the site is using non-secured "http" links within it. I searched the "view source code" and there is a reference to "http://www.w3.org/2000/svg".
Hi Support team,
Our site has an active SSL certificate, but still shows in some browsers as Not Secured (no padlock). The messages say that maybe the site is using non-secured "http" links within it. I searched the "view source code" and there is a reference to "http://www.w3.org/2000/svg".
Can you please fix this please?
Hello again,
You can use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/ to force SSL on your website.
This guide may also help https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
Thanks,
Hi,
Does that mean that the "http://" used can't be removed?
We have purchased a SSL certificate with our hosting provider. If the template is causing this issue, is this something you should be fixing?
thanks!
I installed the plugin, and that seemed to work. Thank you. I just trying to minimize the number of plugins.
