I am frustrated with acheiving the proper sizing on the nectar slider images. is up forst on the home page and is loaded with a couple images scaled at 1600x900. I have the full width option selected and the variable height option selected. From the calculator tool on http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/nectar-slider-plugin/  it tells me that an image of this dimension should have the slider set for 900px, which it is.

I also have the "down arrow" option selected so that users will know there is more content below, the problem is that they cannot see the down arrow

I have tried cropping the images down in various sizes and loading them as well, all with similar result of not being able to see the down arrow. When I mess around with the height and leave the width it adds white space between the header and Nectar Slider.

What I would like is to have the slider as shown on the nectar slider demo, but with the just added down arrow option (seems simple)

I love how this example more or less,  cleanly fills the browser window.

I've got my Site max container size set for 1800 wide, but changing it to 1600 didn't do anything either.

I'm not live yet, so can't share a live url, however can you perhaps share an optimal image size for something like the above demo example?
