    Hello,

I'm using a Child Theme from the last Salient version. I want to add an icon to each links of my navigation menu. I use the footer widget to load up this specific menu i created. Problem is : the icon doesn't show up.

I tested adding an icon to the main Header Navigation menu and it's working nicely (so it's not a loading icon issue i presume). Maybe it's the interaction between this menu and the fact it's loaded with the Wordpress widgets that remove the icon?

When i click on Footer Area 4, it's displaying a ul/li list with all my menu links but no icons.

    Cheers,

    Bastien

    Hi Bastien,

The menu item options are for the header menu and do not work on the footer.
You will need to use a different element to add a list with icons.

What maybe you could do is design a similar looking list of items with icons on a regular page.
Then transfer that to a shortcode widget in appearance \ widget to a footer.

We mean once you finish editing the page with a page builder, open the same page but with the regular editor and copy the shortcodes on the page and paste them into the shortcode widget you will add to the footer widget area.

    Hope this clears things up.
