Permalinks & Custom Fonts

I'm trying to update my permalinks so they display the page name instead of the page id number. When I make this update, it breaks all my custom fonts. Any advice on why this is would be helpful as I'm trying to figure out at what level to troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks.

    Hey Again,

Please clear your cache using this guide: https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/6226/ .

    1. If you are using WP Rocket use this guide :  https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/108-render-blocking-javascript-and-css-pagespeed#critical-path-css .
    2. For Woocommerce caching issues see: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/ .

    Thanks

    Hi Tahir,

Unfortunately, that didn't work. The odd thing is that the fonts work correctly on the home page, but all switch to a serif on the interior pages where I've updated permalinks.

    Example: https://jacobs.design/services/

I have cleared my browser cache as well.

The interface looks different now vs the support article you sent me to. I did the "clear all cache" option shown in the updated attached screenshot.

    Hey Again,

The Child Theme fonts dont seem to be loading in :

Try using this plugin instead: https://cs.wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/ .

    Thanks

    Hi Tahir,

That plugin is closed and unavailable.

I tried to redo the custom fonts, but the issue still persists with child theme errors. One odd thing -- They actually work normally when I preview a draft, but as soon as I hit publish on a page they return to the browser default.

Any other potential reasons or solutions you can think of? This was a non-issue and they loaded normally until I changed the permalink structure from plain to post names. I believe that's why they also still work perfectly on the home page, which is the only link that didn't change in that switchover. They still load on pages if I use the old permalink structure too: https://jacobscodev.wpengine.com/?page_id=1719

I'd be open to different permalinks structure instead of "post name" as long as it's a clean readable format that's not something like "?p=123"

    Much appreciated.
