Hello - which image optimizer plugin can I use that doesn't stretch images incorrectly? I've tried a few and they all warp and stretch the images within the website and when deactivating plugin they go back to normal.
In a previous ticket it was mentioned the lazy load function is causing this but the latest plug-in I've attempted to use is Optimole which allows me to turn off lazy load and it still stretching after clearing cache of images.
I would like to post alot of architecture, construction, and technical document images but saving for web manually individually is really cumbersome. Can you suggest a better method for optimization that works with your theme?
My original ticket was using the recommended EWWW plugin from your article you referenced which is causing the issue. Per your recommendation, I deactivated it and it did fix this issue. Since than I have tried Smush and Optimole which seems to be very highly reviewed and also caused this issue.
Lazy load is turned off on image optimization plugins and I'm open to any image optimization method or plug-in that is supported by Salient but need clarity which is supported to not cause the issue with image gallery warping and stretching images to be disproportionate? What are other users finding success with?
You can use any Image Optimizer plugin but not use its Lazy Load Option. Instead use the Salient's Built-in "Lazy Load" Feature which can be set in the Salient Theme Options Panel -> General Settings Tab.

Hey Again,
Try using the Image Optimization plugins recommended in this Article http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and check if that makes a difference .
Thanks

Hello Jeremy,
We mainly recommend plugins from this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/performance-optimization-guide/ and so in the event they are not working for you, then we may not be able to point out a different plugin which we have not tested it with the theme.
Also head to Salient > General settings > Performance and turn off lazy loading.
Thanks.
I don't understand how your theme with the built in image gallery can't support image optimization?

Let us know how it goes.
