This actually isn't a known issue - there were
other video shortcode issues that WP 4.0 brought which have been fixed
which Tahir most likely got confused with, but I would need to login to
your admin panel to see what the issue you're experiencing is. As seen
here the standard WP video shortcode should process normally
I had told you that I couldn't get the videos to open. I have now made it so that when you click on a link, the video will open in a new window. It's not a good solution, I want you to fix it please. It was the only way it worked but I want them to open on their actual page. please log in using:
It seems you're not using the portfolio element which is the only way to get the videos to open a lightbox by default which adding a class to the anchor tag in your text editor. If you didn't want to use a portfolio style here's the class that needs to on your links
