Could you try the following CSS:

.fa.fa-facebook:before {
    content: "\f09a" !important;
}
.fa.fa-linkedin:before {
    content: "\e605" !important;
}

add it to salient \ general settings - css script related - custom css code.

There is another plugin maybe importing a different version on font awesome icons and that's causing this issue.
