Hello all, i was gifted the salient theme from my friend to use it on my website, but it is 10.5.3 version.
firstly i downloaded it and starts customizing my site, then an error happened on my site not cause of the them so i rested my site to start from scratch with clean base. and them when reinstalled salient theme zip file on my site as usual it asked my to activate the required plugins all of them installed and activated but the WPBakery Plugin doesn't worked at all and gave me an error message, i tried more than 10 times to re install the theme but it didn't worked.
can you please guide me what should i do in this case, and how to update it. thanks in advance.
after i activate salient them as usual it require me to install and activate the required plugins, well every time i install them and then when hit activate, it gives me this message (There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.)
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 14.0.7 and the current version of the page builder is 6.7.1. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

What is the error message you are getting when you try and activate salient page builder \ wpbakery page builder?
Also could you make sure your server meets the requirements listed here under troubleshooting possible errors - https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/installing-salient-updated/.
Also use the latest version of PHP you have access to on your server.
