I was wondering if there is a way to filter posts by tag, similar to how the projects get filtered here:

I would LOVE to be able to add this ability to the post grid. I have seen a few plugins that do it, but they change the layout, and I love the layout that I have created here.

    Hi Tahir,

So this works perfectly for the "Postgrid" element. Maybe my title was misleading because I did reference the post grid. But I am using the Blog element. And these are my settings.

    Can I:

    1) Use the Classis Enhanced Style layout with the post grid element OR

    2) Get filter by tags for the Blog element.

    Thanks!

    Hello There,

I am afraid these options are only possible using the post grid element.

    Thanks.

    Hi @Tahir hope your well,

I am trying to use your Post Grid element to create a list of pages to be displayed on the master page. It will host a load of pages which are guides, I can't seem to filter the post grid to only show specific pages and it pulls in all pages on site. If I use posts or portfolio items I can filter by tag/taxonomy, I need this sort of filter to filter pages by ID maybe?

Can this be done? It will save me many hours have to create section for each page manually!

Please see the settings on the screenshot attached.

    Thanks you legend :)

    Hey Again,

This would likely require customizing the Post Grid Page Element as the Filter is only available for Tags and Categories only at the moment.

    View doc: https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/overriding-salient-wpbakery-element-template-files-through-a-child-theme/ .

    Thanks

That's out of the realm of my knowledge! Okay thanks for the speedy reply! Can I make this a feature request to get this added in, I think it would be super useful!

    Many thanks!

Aha wait I found a work around, used this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/pages-with-category-and-tag/ and assigned a tag to the page, I then was able to filter the pages this way.

Hopefully will be useful to someone else!

    Thanks :)
