After updating Salient to the latest version I am experiencing problems with portfolio galleries on desktop only and generally slow speed. I disabled the w3 total cache to see if it was conflicting but this has not helped.
Just following up on the thread. I resolved the issues. None of my plugins were conflicting, however there were some problems with the SSL implementation.

Try using the "Lazy Load" Feature in the Salient Theme Options Panel -> General Settings -> Performance Tab and check if that makes a difference? .

Thanks for taking a look. What is strange is that the galleries do function on mobile but not desktop. Lazy load was enabled via the theme options.
