In the Salient footer, all the possible icons appear EXCEPT Linkedin (literally activated every possible social media icon in Salient settings to be sure).
I checked the file directory structure, and the Linkedin icon is definitely in the directory ("LinkedIn.png") - it's just missing from the page when called on.
Is it possible that Salient is looking for the wrong file name?
Please make sure your server has the correct Mime types set: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/wiki/Troubleshooting . You might need to contact your hosting provider to add them .

Version 15.02 of Salient Theme via Envato. Visit http://www.tifca.com and scroll to the bottom to see the footer. Try viewing with Firefox so you can see the void graphic where Linkedin should be.
The issue is stemming from a conflict with another plugin you have enabled in the setup which is loading a different version of Font Awesome.
You can correct it by adding the following snippet into the custom CSS box located in the Salient options panel > General Settings > CSS/Script related tab:
