    Hi there, 

    I am trying to edit the footer widgets on the site but am not edit the widgets at all. When I try, a bunch of errors come up in red at the top of the page, and the widget elements do not load. After that, the entire website stops loading for me. I have updated the theme and all plugins, so I'm not sure what is causing this.

    After a few seconds, the site stops loading and a Firewall error shows (see attachment!)

    Hello Emily,

    Thanks for choosing Salient.

    I request you deactivate any security plugin or you can contact your host provider to help as it may have been installed from the server side.

    Hi there,

    I tried deactivating the plug-in (Akimset) but that does not help. Can you please advise? I don't see how this is something GoDaddy could help me with...

    Thanks for keeping in touch.

    This is certainly a GoDaddy issue and not a Salient theme issue as this is a firewall blocking access, the host provider is able to assist with this.

    Hi Judith, 

    After 1 hour on the phone with GoDaddy, we think the issue is that I need to update the Salient theme. (We are currently running version 14.0.7)


    Can you please give me instructions for how to do this?

    Hey Again,

    Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.

    The current version of the theme is 15 and the current version of the page builder is 6.9.1. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
