    Hello. I have a video background on my homepage. It's playing fine on desktop but it doesn't show on mobile. Is there anything I can do to fix this? The video is self hosted. Thank you!

    Hey Again,

    Only Self Hosted Videos would play on Mobile if we do not turn them off in the Salient Theme Options Panel > General Settings > Functionality

    - Please convert the videos and then add them as per their appropriate file format: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-row/#video-background .

     
    - Make sure they are in 16:9 ratio for the mobile to render them correctly.

    Hi!

    Is this a new trend?
    does YouTube not allow video play on mobile devices?
    and only have to do it by self hosting video?

    Hey Kamil,

    I cant remember YouTube ever playing videos' on mobile. Yes, Only self hosted would work .
