I use Salient in default configuration, which means that Roboto is the font used. Does this make possible, that the IP adresses from visitors of my website are forwarded to Google (USA)?
If yes, how can I change it? I changed fonts from Roboto to Arial and also "Default Theme Font Functionality" from "Load from Google" to "Do not load default font". Does this solve the problem? Are there any other fonts from Google than Roboto?
Thanks for the plugin tipp! The fonts now look very different on the website without Google font, quite ugly. Is it planned to change it in future Salient Releases?
Could you please answer me my question, if IP adresses from visitors of my website were forwarded to Google (USA), as long Roboto was used?
I tried "load from theme" and "do not load default font". Unfortunately, the nonone of the changes solved the problem - please check attachment (Google Font Checker).
How can I embed Google Fonts locally (storing on the server) and retrieve it from Salient Theme?

Hey Again,
Try using this plugin or similar: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-remove-google-fonts/ .

Hey Again,
- You can use the Default fonts and set it in the Typography Section of the Salient Theme Options Panel.
- We are not aware of the internal working of google fonts api or if ip is sent or not.
Thanks

Try using this plugin and check: https://wordpress.org/plugins/local-google-fonts/ .
Also did this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-remove-google-fonts/ not work for you?.
Thanks
