I've spent hours trying to fix this, using redirects and all sorts but can't get it to work.
I've created a new WordPress page in Salient, at pictours.uk/tours but it just loads the old static html page that was on the link before, how do I fix this?
It's not plugin related, I've disabled them all and the issue still occurs. This is the only page it happens on, and I can't even preview the page, it goes straight to the old html version
I've discovered the issue. I already have a folder /tours with client projects in it, I had (incorrectly) assumed that I could keep this, and just delete the index.html at its root. But the link won't resolve to the wordpress page with a subfolder named the same as the permalink/slug. Simply renaming this folder temporarily confirmed this.
As I cannot move or rename this folder (clients rely on hyperlinks already supplied to them) I'll have to rethink. I could set up a redirect using .htaccess but this feels a bit clumsy.

Help!

Hi Tim,
Can you check with your hosting provider first to see if they can shed some light on this?
And are you able to preview the page?
Is it happening on other pages?
Hope you check your plugins also that is just run the site with only the theme related plugins enabled, all others disabled.
Thanks.
Hi Noah, thanks for replying.

Hi there,
Could you check with your hosting provider then?
And since its just this page consider rebuilding it if they are not able to figure out whats causing the older page to show.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Great to hear you found the cause of the issue. It was not theme related.
We wish you all the luck with your project.
