My client's past web designer purchased SalientVersion: 7.5.02. That is the current version we are using.

The website works fine with PHP 7.4. When I upgrade to PHP 8.1, the website fails with this message: "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions."
Can you assist me in solving this issue. My host will not let us stay on PHP 7.4 much longer.
We are having this same problem. I don't see where to download and install the necessary plugins to update in the link you provided. We are unable to reach the original developer.
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 15 and the current version of the page builder is 6.6. Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

Unfortunately, you will need access to the themeforest account that purchased the Theme . If you cannot reach the original developer we would suggest purchasing a new regular license.

Updates are provided for free. However, you need access to the account which actually purchased the theme in order to access your "downloads" section to download newer versions as they come out. Alternatively, as the support team mentioned, the Envato Market plugin can also be installed which will connect your Envato Account to the WordPress installation and provide updates through the dashboard - You'll also need access to the account that holds the license for Salient to set that plugin up.
Since you can't get in touch with the developer you worked with who purchased the theme for you to set that up, I would recommend contacting Envato directly to see if they can transfer the license to your current Envato account. We already paid for the theme when we paid the developer, and now you're telling me that I have to pay for the theme again to update it, that isn't a free lifetime update.
The developer should have installed the Envato Market plugin with the relevant token for you to access those updates.
However since you can not reach the developer only way to access the update is to purchase a new license.

That's ok, luckily I was able to find and download the theme from another website for free. Thanks anyway.
