Constant 16:9 format for image galleries?

    Hello,

    i hope you can help us with our problem, because it is very important for us.

    We are trying to achieve a constant 16:9 format for the image galleries > that means for all screen sizes!

    The image galleries (in two columns) look like squares in smaller screen formats. The problem probably comes from the two columns. 

    Maybe you have a little custom code to solve this problem?

    We tried also the other galleries, but the "nectar slider style" fits very well our design needs.

    Would be really great if you can help us with this.

    If we use the "nectar slider style" in 1 column raw, then the picture scales proportionally. As we want it to be.

    Why does the pictures stay not proportionally as soon as we use 2 columns in one raw? 

    We just want the image to shrink evenly as the screen gets smaller.

    At the moment, the image changes from a rectangle to a square.
    And only as soon as you use 2 columns
