We visited the site today and all Nectar sliders and many page images are no longer associated with the sliders and pages. Sometimes when we add an image it doesn't "stick" and we have to do it again.No changes were made to the site in at least two weeks. I do see that we are on WP 4.0 - is that a known incompatibility with Salient?

Please contact your host and ask them to check there error logs. Also try installing a security plugin just to be sure.

since we re-associated the images haven't had this issue again, though I did just open a ticket for a missing section on our home page display. thx...
