The main content is being displayed in the sidebar. I have tried reinstalling Salient and the Portfolio Plugin. I have tried with just the parent theme activated. I don't know what else to try.

Thank you for the response. I actually found that it was an issue with WPMU's Smartcrawl -> Automatic Links causing it. As soon as I disabled that feature, it started working as well as several other glitches we were dealing with.
