I have installed the theme and got it working however the button short codes are not displaying.
I even loaded the dummy data and it was not displaying the buttons on that page either.
Even in my home slider there is a button but it is transparent and not showing as it should be. How do I get the buttons to show correctly? How do I fix the button on the home slider.
(For now I have had to load an image of the buttons on the page to make them work, so the orange buttons that are displayed are not the correct shortcode buttons)

You have the x-shortcodes plugin active that could be causing the issue.

I was able to change the template. I resolved the issue using the Nectar slider rather than the Home Slider... not sure what is causing this issue.

Yes the Nectar slider buttons styles can only be changed not the home slider ones. Nothing wrong its just different options.
