I just want to create a simple page with text on it and have a full width image in the background. When I do it it does not show on the page. But, if I select "in container" it shows in that text block only.
It seems like I've solved the problem myself. I overwrote my own modified style.ccs in the salient child theme with the original child theme stylesheet provided by standard by themenectar.

I have a similar problem...
After updating a testsite of mine with Salient 5.0 I somehow lost the ability to insert an flat image in the background of a newly created row.
However inserting an image with moused-based parallax works fine.
Can you provide a solution to this?
