I want to install Facebook LIKE and twitter FOLLOW in the top navigation bar. I specifically will have it on the right side, replacing the Search Icon. Also I will probably be using the nav option with the nav items are centered (ya know, via the Salient admin options).
Which PHP file should I edit to do this? Or can this be achieved with CSS alone?

You will have to edit header.php .
