Hello - I've tried to add the Social Sharing button shortcode to my portfolio excerpt field but it doesn't appear on the portfolio page (a page using the portfolio shortcode).
Is it possible to put shortcodes into the portfolio excerpt? Is there an easy way to make this work (ability to share directly from the main portfolio landing page)?
If there is a similar fix for the portfolio (the portfolio shortcode on a page in particular), please let me know. Otherwise we'll consider this closed :)
The problem would be even if you could get them to display in the excerpts that every button on the page would still just share the main portfolio page URL and not the project URL due to their nature.

Followed this guide to allow shortcodes in the excerpt field but I'd imagine it didn't work because portfolios are a custom post type. http://marketblog.envato.com/tips/learning-wordpre...
