    Hi there,

    I have purchased the Salient theme and setting up my first website but I wasn't able to find information about recommended image format, sizes, resolutions, etc

    Could you please advise on the best image resolution, pixels per inch, files format, and size - both for the galleries, portfolios, logos, and other pages?

    I want to set up my media files correctly from the beginning to make the website fast.

    I'm sorry that I wasn't clear.

    I don't have blurry images - I want to know what recommended size of images do you recommend for the best performance? Is it 2500 px wide, 1800 px, etc? How many pixels per inch is the best for Salient theme so the media looks nice both on regular and Retina displays. Something like other themes have in their documentation:

    and what is the recommended size for the background image, standard image or gallery image?

    Background Images should not be more than 1920by 1080. You can use any Standard sizes as long as it does not impact the page speed.
