Hello I bought the theme salient and want help to some questions :
1 ) About template "Salient -one -page" , I saw that this configuration is like a new installation, would use this template on a page of the current template? No need of a new facility .
2 ) I am using the Child Theme to customize the theme . From what I know with the Child Theme you can customize other files for example .php
I wonder how do I customize the .php file and also the file "ascend.css"
/themes/salient/css/ascend.css
In short, wanted to know if I can use the template "Salient -one -page" bad not in need of a new WP installation, for example - > Page attributes -> PAGE_TEMPLATE
Editing other files by Child Theme , for example .php files and the file "ascend.css" .
You dont need a new install. You need to have Theme version 4.9 and turn on the option in Salient Theme Options. Please see youtube video on our channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ThemeNectar/video s .
