I just installed your theme after using Astra theme. It seems that the visual composer that comes with Astra (4.3.3.) which our entire site was created with doesn't play nicely with whatever version your theme comes with. For example instead of showing all the text formatted nicely Salient shows:
[vc_empty_space height=60px][vc_custom_heading text=Your One-Stop Partner for

font_container=tag:h4|font_size:50|text_align:center|color:rgba(255%2C255%2C255%2C0.85)|line_height:1.5
google_fonts=font_family:Permanent%20Marker%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal][vc_empty_space
height=32px]
Is there a way that I can update the VC plugin to work with the Salient theme? It would take forever to go back through our entire site and remove the [vc text etc} from every text box on every page.

Hey!
You can disable the builtin VC by going to the Salient Theme Options-> General setting and changing the wpbakery folder name inside the salient theme.
This way you can use the RAW VC plugin that came with the astra theme.
