Hoping somebody can help.

Our product images seem to get vertically stretched on the larger view of the images in our site, while the small thumbnails stay in the right proportion.

We followed our web designers instrucions, only uploading images with reduced size to a maximum of 1200 high, but also tried full sized and a few different types of cropping all with the same result...

Any ideas on what we can do?
