text allowing html

Using the Image with Hotspots element, I'd like to have the text fields allow for html.  Every time I enter it, save changes and update the page, it doesn't save. The element is currently hidden on the suggested page because it's incomplete, but here's a little video to show what keeps happening.

Imagine there are other elements this does this also, but don't remember off top of my head. It appears buggy because DOES save sometimes, and not others, so i have no idea.

    Thanks!

    Hey Laurie,

When inspecting your page's code in the classic mode editor, I noticed a bunch of stray paragraph tags added in:

Those likely were causing the saving error with further HTML. You can generally have WP clean up stray p tags by switching between the "Visual" and "Text" tabs within the classic mode editor:

After I did that to clear them, I went back into the page builder and was able to successfully save HTML within the hotspots element.

    Kind regards

hm, well, if that's what I need to try in the meantime.  Interesting.  Any chance on fixing it or allowing html in those hotspot fields in the future?

    thanks!

    Hey Laurie,

The hotspot element can already take in HTML -- it seems that it was having trouble saving due to stray paragraph tags scattered throughout your page. The tip I gave about quickly switching between the text/visual tab in the classic editor was just to correct that markup. Once that was done, I was able to save the HTML inside of the hotspot element using the page builder normally.
