The toggle button that activates the full width portfolio project item layout under project configuration isn't visible (the description is there but not the button itself). Therefore, I am unable to remove the side bar and all my content appears in the left column. Please help!
I tried to deactive Plugins but it didnt work for me. Is there a solution with custom css Code?
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 15.0.8 and the current version of the page builder is 6.9.1 . Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.

i do not have the single project setting. But also unfortunately can not upgrade the version of the theme
