I have some products that are only offered as gifts in my ecommerce.
Although they have the same name as products that do sell, they have a special category ("Samples"). I would like them not to appear when they do a search because woocommerce also gives the option to add to cart. How can I do it??
Unfortunately, this is not something that we can handle from our end as this is controlled by WooCommerce and this would fall out of the scope of our support.

I'd recommend looking for a plugin that can help you achieve this. Here's one I found that might help https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-search-for-woocommerce/. You can use this plugin or something similar.
