We are in the process of taking over IT support for a customer. Their former IT is not able to provide us with all details on the website etc. Therefor we do not have the purchase information of the Salient theme. How can we get support in trying to fix the critical error the site is giving us on the new host. On any other host we have no problem with your theme. The new host is TransIP.

Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
The current version of the theme is 15.0.9 and the current version of the page builder is 6.9.2 . Salient versions older than v11 won't be compatible with WordPress 5.5.
Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods Once you've updated that, the update for the included page builder will become available. Note that "Visual Composer" also renamed their plugin on Envato to "WPbakery page builder" a couple of years back.
Thanks for your response. And it turned out to be a PHP issue indeed. Once we dialed it back to 7.4 from 8.1 it started to work again. The site is back on-line again.

From the error it seems like a PHP version issue. You would have to get a Regular License if you are not able to access the new Theme Files: https://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4363266 .
Please update to the Latest Salient Theme Version.
