    Hi There,

I have webinars and podcasts to be displayed on the website.
I want to do this with the portfolio option,  but I'm not sure if thats the best way, maybe posts is better.

The thing is; I'd like the URL of the single portfolio page to be website.com/webinars/webinar-titleI instead of website.com/portfolio/webinar-title. I set the category to webinars, but somehow I can't get the URL to change.

In my permalinks settings I have the common settings set to custom and then /%category%/%postname%/.
I also tried to set the External project URL in the Project Configuration in the Portfolio item, but that also didn't work.

So is it possible to have the URL changed for the single portfolio pages, and how?

    Thanks for your help!
    Kind regards,
    Eefke

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can adjust the portfolio slug from here under Salient> portfolio > functionality > custom slug

    7587083797.pngThen refresh your permalinks.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks Andrew,

But for Podcasts I need a different slug then for Webinars.
Can I set different slugs for both categories?

    Hello again,

Thank you for getting back you us.

Unfortunately, our theme does not come with this out of the box. You can only set up one portfolio slug.

Alternatively, you can try using custom post types to achieve this. You can use this plugin or something similar to help you set this up https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards

    Okay thanks Andrew.

I checked the option to use the posts and I think it will work.

    But I do have 2 questions;

    1. Can I disable the comments option at the bottom of the single post page?
    2. I'd like to have the possibility to share the posts on LinkedIn and Instagram. LinkedIn I can set, but Instagram not. (see screenshot)
Can I add some code to have that function also?

    Thanks again for your help!
    Kind regards,
    Eefke

    Hello again,

Thank you for getting back to us.

    1. You can disable WordPress as shown in this WordPress guide https://wordpress.com/support/comments/.

    2. Unfortunately, those social share icons can't be changed. Try turning off the Salient Social Plugin and use a Third Party Sharing Plugin that offers Instagram integration options.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards,
