I tried downloading the latest version of Salient WP files from Envato and extracting these files from the package, but they are still the old versions.
Can you provide me with the new versions that Woo is looking for?
The theme was already updated to version 15.1.0 shortly after that update was released. I use the Envato plugin for that and it alerts me right off to new versions being available, as well as your emails doing so.
Further, like I said, when I actually go into my Envato Market account to download the latest version of the theme (15.1.0) and then unzip it and look at the two template files being reported by Woocommerce as being out of date, it's the old version of those files in that zip package. So the 15.1.0 version of the theme being delivered by Envato does not have those two updated template files present in it.
If you can simply provide the updated versions of those two files I can manually upload them into the site using FTP and the problem will be resolved.
No, doesn't seem to be causing any functionality issues, just like to keep things updated when they get flagged up in the backend. I've dismissed the Woocommerce warning for now.
Any idea when these templates might get updated for the new Woo?
That warning will only show when updating to the recently released v7.8 of WooCommerce. We’ll be releasing an update shortly to remove it, and there is no actual compatibility errors that you’ll encounter because of it in the meantime when using v7.8.

This is an issue that had earlier been fixed in some recent updates, I'd request you update salient to the latest version 15.1.0 and check again.

Hi there,
Those files are in the child theme and might be modified.
We only supply the child theme with only three files.
If you added the salient-child \ woocommerce \ folder then edit the version numbers on those affected files to match the current woocommerce version.
The version number is at the top of the file, see attached screenshot of what we mean.
That should remove the update woocommerce template notice.

I have just downloaded and installed the latest Salient theme and still get the following error message on one of the templates:
