    Hey Salient,

    Lovely theme! 

    So, my portfolio categories aren\\\\\\\'t showing and the ones that do are not showing all of the projects. I know many others are having the same issue. I haven\\\\\\\'t found a solution that works for me. (Maybe I\\\\\\\'m not doing the solutions correctly?)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey - have you tried to reach out to your host to see if any server side caching is enabled? If they say no try repairing your database by following this:

    Also be sure to be running version 5.0 of Salient Theme.

    I checked with my host and there is no sever side caching enabled.

    The solutions you sent me dont seem to be working. I cant even get it to repair. It says i'm stilling missing that line of code in my wp-config but I promise you it's there. 

    Also,I noticed that when I added new portfolio pieces they categories started to show and when I added another piece it would take away a whole category and random pieces from different categories. 

    I'm running the newest version.

    Hey Again!

    Are you sure you are accessing the same wp folder ?.  If the wp-config line is not also registering it means that your wordpress install and the folder you are accessing is different or the php file is not getting updated.

    I'm having the same issue. I've created custom portfolio categories, but the only portfolio items that show up in my portfolio page are the ones that are tagged with default categories. However, I am using the portfolio eye candy homepage layout, and all my portfolio items show up there.

    I've updated to the latest version of Salient, server side caching is enabled, and I tried repaired my database. It's still not displaying the new category items.
