Hi there. I need to make a button in the footer, where I control
    - the background color
    - the font
    - if i have an outline or not. If do, how much thickness
    - the font color
    - Where it links to

Right now, I was able to make a button in Widgets, but the solid color  can't be deleted it seems. Weird, becasue I did choose Outline as you can see.

    Please help!

    Hey Again,

Try using the Page Builder to adjust the button element as per your liking and then copy paste the shortcode via the classic editor in the Footer:

You can also create the Footer using the Page Builder Completely. Please view https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-global-sections/ .

    Thanks.

Hi Tahir, that was a great tip. In te mean time I have made a custom footer. One question about this, see www.soluforyou.com or this screenshot.

In the right corner, I want the normal social icons to visit Solu's Instagram or TikTok for example. However, I can't insert this as you don't seem to have buttons for this as I expected. Do you have a tip?

Secondly a differently question:I have made myself with plug-in and a hard time, a sales banner at the top as you can see.
With ✔ 100% Vegan Korean Glass Skin      ✔ Free delivery from 45,-     ✔ Money-Back Guarantee

Is it possible to make this with the page builder as well and always but it on top of the site?

    Hi there,

    1) For social icons on the footer try to set up the links in salient \ social media, then enable individual social links from salient \ footer - scroll to the bottom area.

    2) As for the banner on top of the site,  you can try and use the secondary header as an option https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/theme-options/header-navigation/#secondary

This is the only one that will appear above the navigation area at the top.

    Hope this helps.

Hi Noah, thanks. Yes, I'm familiar with the second header-navigation.

It indeed shows up. But how can I can style it?
    - I need a grey underline 100% widht
    - I want to change the size of the font/color/family
    - I also need some sapcing between the 3 parts, now it's one sentence without spacing.
    - I want to change the checkmark icons replaced by an image.

You can clearly see the difference of whats great and not at soluforyou.com.
If saleint can solve this, that would be great.

As for the social icons in the footer: do you understand this footer is made not in the widgets, but in  using the Page Builder Completely? Note that I already have put in the social links within Salient, but they don't show up as my footer is custom made.

    Hi there,

    1) Please understand the area is for simple text. It does accept HTML but you would need to provide that HTML to create the look you want.

An alternative to using the secondary header is by using the global section that is salient \ global section - after header navigation. This will however appear under the navigation menu. The advantage will be that you can craft the section to look the way you want with the page builder from the global section - https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-global-sections/

We recommend you use the global section.

    2) As for adding the social icons on the custom footer, since its custom made in the page builder then you will need to provide the HTML for it. You could use the text with icon element to place you own social icons as images and set up the text for them. There is a social buttons element but it limited to the number of social platforms it can show. Another option is using the raw HTML element to place custom HTML that shows your social icons the way you want.

Hope you can work from there.
    Noah.
