This is a woocommerce template and all actions and settings are controlled by WooCommerce and not the theme. Adding coupons to the mini cart would require some extensive customization which I'm afraid we cannot offer due to support scope limitations.

Is it possible to show the coupons/discounts in the slide-in mini cart, (like they are shown on the basket page)?
I have a multibuy discount set up, but it doesn't show in the mini cart, which will be confusing for customers.
Is it possible?

In the end I had to use a 3rd party mini cart plugin, which works fine.
But now I have a follow up question - is there any way to trigger a different action from the click on your shopping cart icon?
I can't see any normal menu or anything that controls that section, just the on/off in the settings.

We only have the options in the salient > woocommerce settings as shown in this screenshot. You can toggle the option in the screenshot below.
