    Dear support team,

    I am looking for a way to use preview images on embedded Vimeo videos, like I can use them on self hosted videos.

    Hey Max,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately, this feature is not possible with the Video player element. Try using the Video Lightbox Element to achieve this.

    Hey Andrew,

    thank you for your fast reply.

    The problem with the Lightbox is that Real Cookie Blocker no longer blocks Vimeo, if the cookies have not been accepted. Also design-wise the Lightbox is not what I was looking for, to be honest.

    Unfortunately, our video player does not allow for this at the moment. I have added this as a wishlist request for consideration for future updates.

    You can try using iframe to add youtube videos to your site.  Please have a look at this article, it might help https://codegena.com/change-youtube-thumbnail-in-embed-player/.
