    Hi,

I have used the Salient Resort demo as a basis:

    https://themenectar.com/salient/resort/

However, I can't seem to find a solution for how to remove the button in the header at the top middle, where it says "Salient" in the demo.

I have tried to edit the menu through Appearance > Menus > Menu structure, but I can't remove the button from there. I also tried Salient > Page Header with no luck.

How can I remove the button in the top middle?

    Hi there,

That text shows if a logo is not set in salient \ header navigation - logo and general styling. Enable the Use Image for Logo option and set up a logo image.

    Hope this clears things up.

    Hi Noah,

Thank you for your response. I managed to replace the text with a logo, but I can't find where to remove it entirely.

I'm trying to completely remove that button from the top of the website because it's unnecessary, even if I try to change its position on the "Layout & Content Related" page. The website's header already has a "Home" link to navigate back to the homepage.

    Hey there,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Once you activate the logo, the text should be automatically removed. The plain text you see is generated from the site name which you can see in this article: https://www.yorku.ca/digitalexperiencehub/2020/12/14/changing-your-site-title-and-tagline/.

To remove this, you'd have to delete the site name.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Andrew,

Yes, I removed the site name and now it's perfect.

    Thank you!
