possible to remove Home Page slider?

    I am using the Salient theme & I started by importing the Old-School-All-Purpose demo.

    Is it possible to REMOVE the Home Page slider from the Home Page?

    Hi Adam,

    To remove the homepage slider you will need to switch the page template to the default on the page the slider is on. See attached screenshot of what we mean.

    When I switch the page template (to Default Template), then the PAGE TITLE/HEADER shows up at the top below the navigation. 

    For the desktop version, I can set the HEIGHT to be 1px or 0px:

    ....but it still shows up on the mobile view:

    Is there a way to completely REMOVE the page title for the Home Page for Desktop & Mobile views?

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    You can disable this in the Salient > Page Header as you can see in the screenshot below.

    Alternatively, you can also disable this in the page header metabox as shown in our guide here https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-metaboxes/.

    The Home Page is the ONLY page I want to NOT DISPLAY the page title. Is this possible???

    When I try & use the page metabox & leave everything blank (or set height to 0px) it doesn't work & looks like this:

    also on the MOBILE VIEW:

    I have a LOT of pages so using the SALIENT > PAGE HEADER & shut off the "Automatically Add Page Title to Page Header" is not a good solution for me.

    Hi there,

    Right now the page title is not showing on your homepage - http://allrigging.doubledowndev.com/

    We were thinking of using custom CSS on the page to remove the page title.

    Have you managed to work this out or are we missing something here?

    Please clarify.

    I used this solution instead (as it was due yesterday):

    You can disable this in the Salient > Page Header as you can see in the screenshot below.

    then listed page titles in the metabox

    ....so I worked it out without needing the custom CSS.
