How can I add a sidebar with top blog posts in the post loop builder? There is an option to add category filters as a sidebar, but I need to also be able to add a widget side bar too, or "top posts" as mentioned earlier.
Currently, our theme does not come with this feature out of the box. Adding this would require some extensive customization which I'm afraid we are not able to offer due to support scope limitations.

Please can you tell me the file that is related to the " post loop builder" in the theme files? I will be able to edit this myself, but just need to know the file name for this element.
I know how to overwrite the element files, but I need to know the specific file name for the new element you have created which is "post loop builder" as there are no file names with this in the vc_templates folder.

The post loop builder element template file is in the salient core plugin that is:
wp-content/salient-core/includes/vc_templates/nectar_post_grid.php

The "Post Grid" has been renamed "Post Loop Builder" .
