    Hello,

I hope you are having a good day. I also want to share how much I love the Salient Theme. I am working on this template and would like to know how and where to edit the side menu and its background image.

Here is the menu circled in pink.

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate you and what you have created.

    Hi there,

Try to edit the menu set as the top navigation menu in the menu settings when you go to appearance \ menu area. The background image should be set on each menu item in the menu itself using the salient menu options. More on salient menu options shown here https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-menu-options/

    Hope this helps.

    Hello,

Thank you so much for your response. I am looking to change the image in the menu background.

If you look at the menu screenshot, it has a photo of leaves or foliage. How and where do I access to change the image? I am not seeing where in the documentation to change the picture; perhaps I am missing it.

Any insights you may have would be really helpful.

Thank you so much, David Stine

    Hello there,

Thank you for getting back to us.

You can change the default background image for the menu in the Salient > Header navigation > Off Canvas as shown in this screenshot.

As for the individual menu items, you can change this in the Salient menu options as shown in this guide https://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-menu-options/.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind regards,
