I am trying to make the portfolio images be stacked together (4 + 4) but there is always some weird space between them when I load the page full screen. If I resize the browser window it gets fixed, how can I make it look correctly all the time?

I am also trying to display two images side by side but I don't always get them loading, I sometimes have to refresh again to see them and sometimes the layout get's all screwed up when I use them. Why is that?

To elaborate..

The two images I have added are orange and blue (for now). instead of appearing correctly they are intersecting the area with the title "FED UP" and they are supposed to appear again at the bottom but are not displayed there at all.

Sadly it did not fix anything. I have used the exact same setup on another site and it had none of these problems with the Portfolio thumbnails and other content not loading up, and that site was using AJAX so this must be something else.

It seems to have been a problem with a plugin, it works fine when I deactivate them. Thank you very much for your help.
